What a lovely little baby boy for very proud parents Emily and Marc.  He was well worth their wait and their perfect boy arrived July 20th 7lbs 7ozs. He did very well for his first modeling session, sleepy and good!  Such a handsome boy.

Gorgeous little Sophie was a perfect model for her first photo session.  I love her cheeks and little smiles, yes she smiled in her sleep a lot! 

Family Photographer Ottawa | cake smash | Molly turns one!

I photographed Molly just after she was born and here we are a year later already.  Such a cute little thing she is!  I am pretty sure the cake smashing was her favourite part! Big brother Thomas did a fantastic job too.

Ottawa Photographer | Tanya and Graysson

Tanya is one of the sweetest people I know.  She came into my life when I desperately needed a hair stylist who could take control of my hair! That was a few years ago now, and I have come to realize how special she is as our friendship has grown.  Her little boy Graysson is an absolute delight!

 Thank you Tanya for all the thoughtful things you have done for me and for asking me to take pictures of you and Greysson (there is really no need as her sister is an amazing photographer). I love spending time with you and I love your ideas for our photoshoots! So fun! xo

Maternity and Newborn | Ottawa Photographer

This is one of those shoots that left me so inspired.  It was for Charlotte, her hubby Geoff and their son, Thomas.  Charlotte was about a week away from delivery, they had no idea if they were going to have a girl or boy-the last shot is of their new gorgeous little bundle.

I would like to point out i love these first shots of Charlotte jumping in the field, but I did say "no jumping!" when she mentioned it to me, followed by; "I am not delivering any babies today Charlotte please don't jump!"  Then looking really innocent as she continued walking while I continued to shoot.... she jumped...a few times.  Of course I kept shooting like a rubber-necker at an accident scene...jeez!

Charlotte was training with a pre-natal fitness trainer and was in tip top shape.  The images are beautiful, I love them, but I don't recommend pregnant women jumping!
